What do you think provides you with an accurate picture of Member Engagement?
First, we measure how actively HEUG members use information, education, and networking resources that are included in your membership. Secondly, we measure how likely members are to turn to HEUG when a challenge arises.
As members, we are constantly faced with challenges at our institutions; but with the most recent challenges, I have seen numerous listservs blowing up as members are banding together to provide the help that each of you are needing during these unprecedented times. This gives a sense of belonging and feeling that you are a part of something bigger and more powerful. You have all been there to support and give numerous options on how you are handling what needs to be done in this new “virtual” world.
By now, the primary contact listed on HEUG for your institution should have received an email to renew your membership for HEUG. As your VP of Engagement, I want to make sure that you and your institution continue to find value in our membership and all that HEUG has to offer.
Member engagement is core to the HEUG success and you have proved that in the past few weeks with your commitment and teamwork to work together toward a common goal.
