If you're a technical professional in higher education who's passionate about PeopleSoft, data, security, or systems integration — the Connected Campus Community of Practice wants YOU!
As part of the Higher Ed User Group (HEUG), the Connected Campus CoP is a vendor-inclusive community built by and for higher ed professionals who work on the technical side of campus systems. We're currently accepting nominations for 4 new members to join our advisory group, and we're specifically seeking expertise in:
- Technical development — PeopleSoft functionality, customization, and code
- Reporting & data — turning institutional data into actionable insight
- Security — protecting campus systems and data
- Systems integration — connecting platforms and building seamless workflows
What does membership actually look like?
This is an active, engaged group. Members participate in discussions, deliver and attend webinars, and collaborate with other HEUG communities to tackle the real challenges facing higher ed IT today — including AI adoption, ERP modernization, and cross-functional problem solving. Whether you're a seasoned PeopleSoft veteran or a newer professional eager to contribute and learn, there's a seat at the table for you. Check out our community charter for more details.
Why join?
Because the people in this group genuinely want to help each other succeed. We share knowledge freely, work through hard problems together, and show up for the broader higher ed community. If you've ever wished you had a crew of technically savvy, like-minded peers to think through challenges with — this is that crew.
Nominations open March 25. Visit HEUG.org to learn more and submit your nomination and the election process. You are also encouraged to reach out to any of our current members if you want an insider's perspective on roles and responsibilities.
Warmest Wishes,
Your current CoP Champs! A few of us will be rolling off the group this year and will definitely be missed...
